That depends what kind of snail you're looking for. A snail isn't just a snail, they come in huge variety like most animals.
I keep Giant African Land Snails. Be careful though because they are illegal in some places. Obviously though where I am they are legal, so look in to the legality of your pet before you get one. If you want a watery snail, look up Apple Snails. You can sometimes buy aquatic snails in fish shops, as they are sometimes sold to fishkeepers who use them to remove algae from the glass. Good luck.

You can get a pet snail at your local pet store.
If they are out of stock, then Petco or PetSmart has many.
If even THEY dont have any (which is completely unimaginable) then check online!

If I had only known you wanted one. Just this morning I found one in my garden and salted it. Maybe I could rinse it off if you get back to me fast enough. Hold on, I'll go check it's mucus.......... sorry, it's in bad shape.
