Who is more important your friend, the guy or your mum. Did he ask your friend out because he wants to make you jealous? If your mum said no then he is probably bad news. Guys are remorseless, play hard to get and pretend you don't care if he goes out with your friend, if it's meant to be then it's meant to be, keep your feelings to yourself and don't trust either of them - except your mum.
