There this girl i met ,we seem to hit it off pretty good. She even wanted to help me study on a test. we ran i to each other one day and she called me that nite. We talk about her making me dinner and romamantic stuff for 3 hr. She seem really into me. We did not talk for 2 weeks after that. So 2 weeks later I ran into her she look mad.I told her I was going to call her she said why. I said to study. She said she has alot to do right now just her call later.I did and she said she on the phone and she'll call me back. She never did. I seen her a few days later and it look like she's trying to hide from me.Why is she giving me the cold shoulder? should I just act the same way?

Maybe waiting 2 weeks to contact her again was bad. I would be upset too if a guy I liked and seemed to like me as well did not contact me for 2 weeks and then when I do see him....he says lets go "study". Why don't you make a romantic dinner with some nice wine and candles and invite her over. Just do it!

I would focus first being friends and get the issues straight on that level, before going any further, if at all. Friendships go through weird ups and downs, and ins and outs from time to time -- it is hard enough to straighten out who got or gave the wrong impression, or who owes who an apology or explanation, WITHOUT romantic feelings or pressures involved. So put aside those added complications. Get the basic friendship trust going again first and the rest will take care of itself in the process.

If you and she cannot even work this out as friends, you cannot be in a working relationship anyway. Re-establish trust again, that you communicate openly and honestly without judgment or pressure, and work from there. (Note: There is usually partial miscommunication or misunderstanding on both sides, so if both parties open up and admit their shortcomings neither has to feel more pressured or at fault than the other. When the other side is afraid or putting up walls, I am usually the one who has to ask or apologize first for my part of the misunderstanding before the other relaxes enough to talk.)

Whether you are romantic or platonic friends, I find every relationship is worth taking the time to work it out if both people are interested. But friendship and trust are the basis of all relationships, so I would rebuild that first and foremost.

The same thing happened to me. She said I should have tried harder to call her just to talk and show I was interested. I feel that if it was just two dates, I don't want to call you everyday.

Lesson: Girls want to feel very important.

Maybe she got interested in someone else, or she felt that you were trying to rush her.
