This is a link to real time satellite images of earth from space. You can move around the globe and zoom in and out but it only goes so close before pixilating. If you read the page carefully though there are links to other pages; there is a moon viewer and, especially cool, a list of satellites that you can choose to view from. This site is worth exploring further as well, there is tons of cool stuff there.

To pinpoint frighteningly accurate close up satellite views go to Google Earth. Scary but Cool.

Google earth is good.
But there is something even better than google earth, although it is also from Google. Try :
www.wikimapia.org
Once you are in, type the name of the place you want to view on the pop-up window at the top right and press return key.
You wont regret it.

Well, Google Earth is good. But are you in Heaven now? If so, you might not need Google Earth. Ask the other people there who have been there longer.

Yeah, download Google Earth. It's free and it is really cool to use. Other than looking at your home, it also lets you see stuff like the Eiffel Tower or the Grand Canyon...things you might not ever get to see in person.

Terraserver. It offers satellite and aerial views of just about any place in the U.S. you want. You can enter a specific zip code, or even a street address, and it will take you there from the air.
