I got my wii on friday, and i have it connected via my wireless router, but can I play games with my friends online? it looks like the only thing i can do online is buy games, check weather, read news, browse the internet, ect. I'm pretty much wondering if it's like Xbox Live, where you can build a friends list and invite them to join your party.

it doesn't have online games yet. the first will be pokemon battle revolution, which I think will be released in Q1 07.

The online game service isn't up yet, but later, there will be online games. Best part is, you don't need an account. Just buy the game, connect online, and play!
