There are plenty of substance-abuse programs available. Please talk with a doctor. You might also want to find a local AA or NA meeting and attend some of them. You can get some advice there as well. You will need to return after a residential rehab program.

When you already know that this is a problem for you and you want to find a way to stop, which is what you are describing, you are likely to be successful. At least, you are far more likely to be successful than are many others. That's simply be cause you know that you are doing this for yourself and not for others or because your rehab is court-ordered.

This will be hard, but it's entirely possible. All of those folks at AA and NA are living, breathing proof that it's possible.

Rehab...it's for quitters.

Seriously, if you fail to find a rehab facility, talk to your doctor or local hospital. They can offer suggestions.

Yes. The easy way is just go over to the hospital emergency ward and say, "I don't know who to ask. Can you help me?" Don't get discouraged and go away.

It's called a rehabilitation clinic. Go to your doctor and tell him you want to check yourself into one. Social services might be able to help also.
