I need help remembering an old British song from the '80s...?

There was a song from the '80s, by a British band I believe, that had a mellow hit with the lyrics, "Let's just cruise along now, baby... Miles and miles of...... " Something to that effect... Does anyone know the song I'm talking about, as well as the band?... Sorry I didn't have more to offer in the question...
