I know that most of you were not born, then. HOWEVER, there are a few souls out there, like myself, who were.

I saw it on tv when I was about seven which would have been in the early 70's - I absolutely fell in love with Paul and was from then on a huge fan of his band Wings - my memories of watching that at that young of an age are of the mania - girls just crying and screaming - I didn't understand it until I was 17 and saw Prince in concert and started crying myself when he first started performing. I am not comparing the two, just saying that I could then understand that overwelming emotion. The only other thing I remember is about them getting haircuts.

I was actually born same year but since I was just a tiny baby I have no memory of the event. I do however have memory of seeing it in theators on it's 20th anniversary and it was way cool in 1984. My friend and I had a blast as did all the other kids our age that were there some much younger than us. I also saw all the other Beatles movies in a theator at midnight matenees. I love the Beatles

I turned 13 in Sep 64.
In New Jersey.
I was living in Garfield at the time so must have seen it in Theatre in Passaic.

A lot of groups begin to sound "dated".
Beatles music does not seem affected much by time.
They had chemistry.
Didn't last too long.
And when each member did their own stuff it still sounded to me like The Beatles.

More parents began to accept the Beatles after
THE ROLLING STONES came along.
Mick Jagger said the word "pregnant" in (I can't get no) Satisfaction.
Dave Clark Five were upbeat friendly guys.

There was music coming in from England Before the Beatles....skiffle?
Like that song...."does you're chewing gum lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight?"
Hermans Hermits had that skiffle style.

The Beatles certainly put England back on the map....musically, culturally.
Back then England became a bit of an obsession.
Until the Beach Boys came along and then the mantra was .....at least in Jersey...."CALIFORNIA CALIFORNIA..."

Four Seasons put out song "Rag Doll" in 1964.
That song got played on radio almost to point of throwing radio out window when it came on.
Top Ten A.M radio....FM wasn't off the ground .

Hard Days Night and Help.....
good movies

My memory of the movie was the milk in the pyramid box that one of the managers tried to open (I was 8 so it made no real sense to me)
