While I was growing up my family used to attend midnight mass religiosly (smile.) Now that I'm 42 and on my own I usually celebrate Christmas Dinner and say a nice prayer in my head (no going to church.) I beleive that God equiped me with the nicest, richest, and most lavish church -- my own self. I beleive that I don't need any middle-men to speak with God -- every well intentioned thought is a prayer. Also, I have "issues" with the Catholic Church. I would only be attending any sort of Christmas mass simply for the "show" of it.
Have a joyous Christmas everyone! Let's all work on getting along with our neighbors much better in the new year. Peace.
