Marxism was an economic system that involved party bosses and layers of regional governors that controled the USSR. The philosophy was imbedded in pure socialism that rewarded people for their contribution to the theory. Controled Education by Occupations. Marxism was a economic and political theory. The economic part of the theory was correct, the political part an utopia (in the original meaning of the word). The Soviets twisted the political part, kept just a portion of it and added stuff to make an government work. That was Communism. Other variations of the political theory had different names.
