This music is everywhere, even in restrooms with speakers right over the urinals. It seems that it would be impossible to find a type of music that everybody would like. Wouldn't it be better without the music? Most of it is boring, and/or annoying.

Fact is you ARE listening. That stuff is all psychological marketing. Easiest example - Next time you go out to eat at a busy restaurant listen. The pace of the music changes as the restaurant fills up. A goup of us went to a Mongolian Barbecue 2 weeks ago and they play that Muzak. We weren't in a hurry and we were cuttin on the music but as the place filled up it kept getting faster and faster and you could see people reacting to it by speeding up their activity. We saw one guy who wasn't even chewing his food he was just scooping and swallowing. People were leaning forward in their chairs in a more agressive posture and stopped talking to their friends. Theres a NHL Hockey arena across the street and as it got closer to faceoff the crowd started to thin and the music eased the pace and people gradually went back to normal. That music you hate is a management tool! Guess you just have a problem with authority eh?

My ipod doesn't hold enough musack so NO! BQ: nope. Except though my dog stepped on my cd player tray, and broke it, I'm kinda scared to put 1 of the 4 cd's I have in it because it's hard to open, but then again that's what the computerdora is for! My portable cd player is either out o' batteries or the shits broke.
