About 15 min. ago, I asked if I should stop beleiving in Santa. I think I will, but in a different way. My 9 year old sister is behind me playing World of Warcraft. She has stocked up on cokes, peeps, sugars, candies, etc. and plans to stay up ALL night to see if Santa is really really real. She plans to hide behind the door.. Should I break the news to her that Santa isn't actually real but he's real in a different way? I read other people's answers to other questions and I beleive she should learn by 4th or 5th grad that Santa doesn't exist... What do I do?

The worst thing to break is a child's imagination. I live in an equatorial climate and yet i still believed somehow santa would arrive on my rooftop, somehow, without causing super friction and burn himself without snow here.

But hey, best years of my life was when i believed everything could happen. If only if adults felt they could achieve anything, then maybe they could.

She'll learn on her own, like i did, and it came gradually. I would have hated having some person break my heart.

Paul did no longer reject the actual international. He did no longer meet Jesus in individual in the previous he died, yet he did meet Jesus after his resurrection, it quite is why curiously to you that he 'renounced any awareness of Jesus by human sources'. He grew to become into basically being truthful approximately how he met him. As for issues seen and unseen, Paul isn't rejected this existence (he has plenty to declare approximately it), yet he's refuting the theory that this existence is all there is. This existence must be considered interior the sunshine of our eternal destiny, and that's while issues are going to be suited and finished (somewhat than in this existence). yet Paul rejected any concepts that the actual international did no longer count. His writings are packed together with his arguments against that concept. So of direction Paul could have known the strolling, talking, actual existence Jesus. it quite is the Jesus he preached.

No, let your sister wait there. In my experience, a 9 year old girl cannot stay awake for that long. Trust me, she'll fall asleep before that. When she wakes up, then just say she missed Santa.

She'll know about Santa Claus eventually.

Leave her alone. Let your parents decide when and how to tell her.

The WORST time to find out would be on Christmas. You could scar her for life.

Tell her to stay in the fireplace the whole night. She will eventually realize it herself... If she stays awake.
