I stayed up all night and now I'm in a pickle because I don't want to go to sleep and end up waking up at 7-8 and waste my day but I also feel like crap... what should I do?

Get some sleep!! Your no good to anyone yourself included if your exhausted & grumpy.

Sleep works in cycles....

Only sleep for about 1hour or an hour and a half. This way your body feels refreshed but does not enter r-e-m mode which is the deepest sleep which usually happens after 2 hours of sleep which will make you want to sleep for 8 hours total and if you wake up in the middle of that you will feel groggy for the rest of the day. this way if you take a nap and get up in about an hour you will feel better for the rest of the day and when its time to sleep tonight you will be able to because you only took a nap so by that time you will be tired enough to get full nights rest for Christmas! so do it quick before it gets to late!

Go to sleep. Set your clock to wake up earlier than 7 or 8. Then try to start over.

Just go to sleep. Whats the point of staying up if you feel like crap? Most likely, if you do rest you'll feel refreshed when you wake up.

Damn the torpedoes: Go to sleep, wake up when you wake up, waste your day, if necessary, and feel better.

But first, call the doctor and tell him what you propose to do. If, after quizzing you, he wants to see you before you hit the sack, do as he says.
