Fish have very small stomachs, but amazingly they can go for a reasonably long time with out food. It can be anywhere from 1-2 weeks in fact. After that they will begin to fade away. Is there a reason why they aren't eating (sickness, new tank, stress, etc)?

If healthy tetras can go days without worry. In fact as most fish are over fed it does them good. A week starts pushing it. Be wary of the vacation feeder, and helpful friend. Both tend to massively over feed, and foul the water. Don't throw in a massive amount of food before you leave. Most of it will just rot in the tank. Feed them well, but not more than they can eat in 2-3 minutes.

Fish commonly thrive best when you keep them a little hungry anyway so maybe it wouldn't matter. Whatever you do don't overfeed in anticipation of being gone because it might foul the water and be worse than if you didn't feed them at all.
Tetras have teeth. Maybe you could get really small fry and release them in the tank before you leave. Maybe some brine shrimp (live) would do the trick, too.

Your betta will be fine for 3 days without food. They are capable of lasting a week without food! Just make sure before you leave to: 1. Fast your fish for a day or two so they are not producing a lot of waste while you are gone. and 2. To do a water change so that your betta has good clean water. It is not recommended to get the block feeder while you are away since they usually cloud up and pollute your water more than keep your fish healthy and alive. Your betta will be just fine for 3 days with good clean water.

The fish, if healthy and well fed when you leave, can go a week without food. If you are uncomfortable with this you can purhase an electric feeder for them. Avoid those white blocks, they actually contain very little nutrition in them and only foul the water as they dissolve.
Tip: The fish metabolism slows in cooler water and increases in warmer. This means cooling down the aquarium a bit will help your fish go without the food for that time.

they can last a very long time without food, and will resort to feeding off of particle scraps if needed. You can also purchas a feeding tablet that will last quite a while stuck to the glass

You should keep food blocks on hand. Just incase you have to leave in a hurry you can just drop one in and the fish can slowly eat at it. Or rubberband algea on to the filter intake and the fish will eat that. (Just incase there is a fallout to this emergency)

There is vacation food you can get for them. It is a hard white substance with fish food embedded in it. It will release it over about a weeks time and your fish will feed off from it. Sorry about your emergency, hope everything turns out ok.

At your local pet store you can get time released cakes containing their food and you could probably be gone for a couple of weeks. The cakes last for about 1 week and they can go for several days without food.
Hope this helped.
