If you feel like a Scotsman than you can say you are one. Keep in mind that Scotsman are of ancent German ancestory and also thru Vikings from Scandinavia. May of us Scots are spread all over the World and still have pride in our ancestory. Gaelic is a German dialect some of which you may understand and is spoken by Celts living all over Europe.

Both countries have powerful neighbours. When Scotland was invaded , they threw rocks at the invader. The Austrians threw flowers. Other commonly shared traits include; great at football, a wonderful accent admired worldwide, knobbly knees and red faces, a sun-drenched homeland famous for its humour and a hatred of alcohol. If you must turn into another nationality, try Welsh.

Well, I am an Italian (nationality) and feel also as if I am Scottish. I love the country and its people. I don't mind what other people say or think. When I'm telling you I'm Scottish then I am Scottish ;-)

sure you have Scottish ancestors - unless you are an aboriginal fella, but that's okay too, just cause I say so, you can be a member of clan Rhannald, search the Internet for the tartan and the open letter from the clan chief inviting those without a tartan to aline themselves with his clan.
