What are the heads supposed to be torqued at on a 2.0 ltr engine

go to www.autozone.com. They have specs and photos.
For 1990-91 vehicles, tighten the bolts twice, in the sequence shown in the accompanying figure. For the first pass, tighten the long bolts to 23 ft. lbs. (32 Nm) and the short bolts and stud to 22 ft. lbs. (29 Nm). Make a second pass, tightening the long bolts to 78 ft. lbs. (106 Nm) and the short bolts to 66 ft. lbs. (90 Nm).

DANGER! Do not over tighten. You "" strip the threads in the block if you do over tighten. Always better "a little loose" than stripping.

My torque settings for the heads on my 1992 (2.0 ltre) Cutless Ciera were 20 ft/lbs. That's a brand new installation. Then after 3,000 miles, you are supposed to give them a "little" more tightening, because they will loosen up a bit with the heat and the compression of the gaskets.
