If you mean who is santa claus i think i know.
our modern day santa claus was derived from 300 ad st. nicholas who put toys and treats in childrens shoes @ night. when the swedish arrived they began this tradition. when they said saint nicholas it sounded like san-nikolaus. Say Saint Nicholas really fast and eventually you sound like you are saying Santa Claus. Hope this helped!

C'MON! He moved to Sedro-Woolley, uses regular deer due to tree huggers protecting reindeer, and lost 35 lbs on Jenny Craig, with Monica's help of course, everyone knows that ;)

He is big because he is jolly.
He lives in the North Pole because that is where it is winter all the time and that is where he built his workshop.
He has eight reindeer to fly his sled because like you said he is big.
