This person prefers for sex to be female on bottom, man on top, in the dark so you cannot deviate away from the actual act by seeing imperfections, modesty veils are when the two are very modest and do not have to see each others bodies.

Wow... sounds like an odd way of letting you down easy or telling you they weren't interested in having sex with you by sounding boring as hell. Sounds like they need to learn how to have fun enjoying sex!!! Be glad you didn't sleep with them.
