If you're focused on Santa during Christmas you're focused on the wrong meaning.

We celebrate the birth of Christ.
We look forward to the New Year.
We make resolutions, we pay off the presents we bought and start down the same road we have traveled for years.
If only we could learn that the celebration of Christmas is the foundation for change and redemption then, and only then, will we, as humans, be able to change.
Perhaps through that collective change in the thinking and heart of man would we be able to reach our full potential.

We celebrate because it's the one time of year that is dedicated to world peace. It's a chance to remember the Holy one of God, Jesus Christ, who has redeemed the world from eternal death. We give gifts at christmas, not only because of tradition but also because its a chance and time to show our appreciation (if not love too) for each other. A time to relax, unburden yourself of worries and get lost in the goodness of Jesus. I hope you believe in Him, even if you dont, He loves YOU very very much, more than you can imagine. Be blessed
Merry christmas!

I thought Christmas was the season of giving, and forgiving. It's the time to spend time with family, and give to those who deserves it. I don't think Christmas destroys anything,.. It's the spirit of Christmas that counts.

It's a time for giving. It's usually the only time of year we attempt to fix what we've destroyed, so we'd be in even wrose shape were it not for the holiday season.

we honor Christ, celebrate a new year, new hopes, and dreams, also to just talk to a relative you hardly ever speak to.
it is a time for old friends, new friends and family to get together and for you to show a person you care.

Alchohol. Despite it's wonderful effects, it might be time to quit.
