I want to watch animal planet to take notes on specials. But sometimes I miss the shows. Are there videos on animal planet's website that show the days show specials? This way I can watch the episode on the computer and take notes.

Why don't you just set up your vcr (they still sell them cheap if you don't have one) and tape the ones you want to see. Then you can rewind them for note taking too in case you DO miss something while watching. You can also view them later when it's more convenient for you. Their schedule will be on their website so you can plan in advance.

well, checkout the website of this TV show. And the one thing I can think of is that you record the shows you like so you can watch it anytime after. You can do it via the oldreliable VCR, and well the dvd recorder.

You should get TIVO or DVR. This way you can record your favorite TV programs and play them back at any time.

why don't you get wintv board for your computer than you can save them to hard drive?
