its nba live 06, sumtimes it loads and sumtimes the game gets stuck when starting a game on the schedule, its an orginal copy, i dont deal with burnt copies i dont have the chip to play it and its an orginal ps2 the fat ones and i do take good care of it, just dont play it as often as i like, waiting on xmas....for new games... any who thanks for all the great answers so far.

The game will load faster if it's original. Illegal copies will load MUCH slower. Also a way to make them load faster is to have a memory card with more free space than the game requests. You see after you start a game there is a profile created in the memory card, and until you start the game it keeps saving and saving so more free space in the card, less loading time. There is also the case that your console has a problem. It took one of my friends ten minutes to load the menu of an original copy of PES6!

ope, just take good care of your machine, it can only load data as fast as the processors and RAM allows it to.
