The time your desktop computer was last on? There is a event log in Windows that might have the feature. Otherwise why care? Computers left on, waste electricity just like the printer and monitor. Computers that are left on have heat problems, memory problems, video problems... all being left on past 8 hours depending on how good the desktop computer manufacturer.
You left your car running, might as well share it with the company.

If it is a Windows machine, go to event viewer look at system log.
Look for an entry information, source event log. Since the event log starts each time the system boots, it can tell you every time the machine has started, for as far back as the log goes. Oh, and it defaults to overwrite events in 7 days.

If you are using windows XP, you can use "Event Viewer" to get the required information about your system
* To open Event Viewer, click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance, click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Event Viewer.*
