Norwegian Folk Song Suite!?

Question

Composed by Frank Erickson and published by the Bourne Company in 1953. Other than this information I am unable to find recordings, score analyzation tips, or anything to help me use this piece as a teaching aid. Does anyone have a recording of the song or can you provide any historical facts about the piece, things going on in Norway during this time, or even the composer's (Frank Erickson) interest in composing such a piece. Any and all info is greatly appreciated!
