Is safe to take birth control even tho ive had high bloodpressure...?

ABOUT A YEAR AGO I HAD HIGH BLOOD (ABOUT 140/70 ON AVERAGE) PRESSURE BUT I WAS SO YOUNG MY DOCTOR DIDNT WANT TO PUT ME ON MEDICATION FOR IT. INSTEAD HE PUT ME ON A STRICT DIET AND KNOW ITS GOOD ( 115-120/65 ON AVERAGE). I KNOW THERE IS A RISK FOR WOMEN WITH HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE ON BIRTH CONTROL. IS IT SAFE FOR ME TO TAKE IT?

I would talk to your doctor before you do anything, just incase.

ur bp seems to b in control
take pills
and check ur bp regularly
