ok as your system is basically unworkable i want you to try a few tests first
take a windows xp disc, insert it into your dvd/cd-rom and restart the computer, when the p.c starts press delete and enter set up,go to advanced bios settings and set the first boot device as cd-rom and then preess esc and save and exit set-up
when the p.c starts up again it will recognize the xp disc and hopefully it should say"press any key to boot from cd"..do this and then continue to follow the prompts to re-install xp
however before you do this go into set up again and go into cpu management or it may be something similar sounding, when you find this check that the cpu hasnt been overclocked(made to go faster),at the bottom of the page there will be a option box,you need to press the f key for defualt settings(usually f5) and again press save and exit set-up,if the processor is overclocked this will explain the freezing and setting it to defualt will lower it back to a workable speed
check that your memory is correctly seated in the memory bank on the motherboard, and that the white clips either end are locked
also while in the p.c case check all the following
1)ide ribbons....these are the cables that attach your hard drives and dvd/cd-roms to the motherboard, check for wear and tear and that they are correctly slotted into their respective sockets
2)check the cpu/chassis fans.....these are the fans that ventalate your computer and if any are not working correctly this can cause the cpu and other hardware to overheat causing system crashes, especially if its your cpu-fan,this would be fatal to your cpu as it could actually fry due to inadequate ventilation
3)obviously check for viruses and spyware, however i know this may be a bit awkward as your p.c is freezing after start up,so try doing a scan in safe mode(press f8 on start up),and run a anti-virus scan in safe mode
4)check all p.c.i and a.g.p cards for dirt and dust and make sure they are firmly attached to the case with their retaining screws,if the agp graphics card has a fan check its working and clean any muck or dust from the fan
most of the time freezes are caused by either a hardware conflict or damgage or a virus, but i am tending to go towards a hardware problem,so run all the checks i have mentioned and send me a report on the results
if needed i will be able to assist you further
cheers mate

a mong the things that makes the pc to get frozen is when there is a device conflict, this could be hardware or software(bad software can cause the pc to freeze), for either first look what did you install recently, such as new software or hardware, uninstall them and then check whether it get better or not. and the next thing check that you have enough space on your hard disk if you have windows XP installed you need at least 2GB free space and try to install you other softwares in a different drive than that you have windows on it

Hia, initially do no longer difficulty and calm down !! precise, now and returned the outcomes of crashing are led to via a million) Too many courses working at as quickly as or you clicking some thing constantly with velocity. 2) you have an infectious software on your laptop e.g Limewire is truthfully-properly-known for viruses and despite the fact that i take advantage of it myself I even have been instructed that MSN messenger eats up your laptop 3) you have an epidemic on your laptop so in case you have carried out or have any of subject factors then I advise you uninstall this technique or take it to a restoration shop.

Sounds like either your fan on your processor has failed, meaning it gets very hot then shuts down or crashes!
Or you have a virus, so you need to get the latest virus program and do a full scan!
Good luck

You may need to replace the laptop battery (if it is a laptop). But if it is a computer, you might want to hire a computer person to come and fix it.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
