I would want a munckin kitten. They are much smaller than normal cats. I already have a dog so something different would be nice. And they can us a litter pan so It would be easier to take care of in the mess department

It is not a good idea to get people animals as gifts, especially if you don't know they want one, or will take care of it. That is especially true of children. Children don't have any concept of what it takes to care for an animal.
I prefer kittens, myself, though I like full grown cats best. And always a shelter cat or one I've rescued myself.

I'd like to have both and I don't want a pure breed. I tend to have a huge heart for the pound puppies and kitties.

none as it is wrong to buy animals for christmas if you want a pet wait a few week till after christmas when there are loads of cats and dogs in animal shelters begging for new home as people have got them for there kids then find out they need a lot of time and money to look after

My husband says it depends on what kind fo a dog...but I say a kitten. We already have a kitten...Fenway, who will be 1 in February. I keep telling him we will get him a kitten...maybe next Christmas when we have a bigger place though.

it depends on which u like more. I used to have both but they're old now... i think i would like a siberean huskey puppy or a black little kitten =)
