If you are just replacing an older computer with a newer one, you should have no problem. Just hook it up like the old one was and it should work. If you have dial up you may have to find the dial up numbers. Also you will need to save your address book and Favorites List if you have them.

Depends whether you're using a dialup or broadband connection.
If you're using a dialup then you just have to plug your new PC in and you can use internet after configuring it as you had configure your old PC.
But if you're using a broad band and you're connected via LAN card then you have to either plug your old LAN card in your new PC or otherwise you have to tell the particular number of your new LAN card to your service provider then they will configure the connection for you and will tell you about the further details.

it should work without you having to do anything. If you want to keep both computers and make a network you need some type of router. The router will allow you to plug both computers into the network.

If just plugging into your network doesn't work, you should give your Internet Service Provider (ISP) a call for support since they all have their own connection schemes.
