Christmas is a christian festival, and christians throughout the world will celebrate it, it may NOT be a public holiday in countries where christianity is not the main religion, but many will take it as a holiday. China is not a majority christian country, so there is no official celebration.

Apart from among the Christians, Christmas isn't a big thing in China. In Japan Christmas is quite big but it's clebrated as a gift giving day, kind of like Mother's Day or Father's Day.

Obviously Christian ones will. Beyond that I am sure the workers in the factories who have jobs churning out products for Westerners to give each other as presents at this season are very happy that the custom exists.

The Christians in China do! Apparently there are something like 26million (1% of the entire population) offical Christians in China - they suffered persecution under Mao but can now worship in, sort of, peace.
