You could try a method called "threading." It's a very ancient technique of hair removal and from what I understand it's less painful (probably once you're used to it) than yanking the hair out with tweezers.
Here's some info on it:
"Threading is an ancient method of hair removal that is still used in parts of the Middle and Far East. Thin, twisted cotton threads are rolled over untidy hairlines, mustaches and so on, plucking the offending hair. In Western countries, threading can still be found being performed in beauty salons. Unlike other methods of hair removal such as plucking or waxing, threading is much healthier for the skin and does not result in ingrown hairs.
Practitioners use a pure cotton thread. They generally twist the hair and threading pulls out a whole row of hair, as opposed to tweezing where only one single hair is pulled out. Threading is often preferred to tweezing because of the naturally straight lines of hair removed by the thread. It is pulled out from the follicle. Some women focus particularly on the area between the eyebrows [1], thus interrupting so-called "unibrows". Side effects can include folliculitis, a bacterial infection in the hair follicles, skin reddening or puffiness, and changes in skin pigment."
I've also included a couple pages below to find out how to actually do it.

what i do is i buy the wax kit, but to trim em i use small scissors and a small brush like the ones used with the eye liner brush the eyebrow hairs upward and trim the tips... just do it one cut at a time if ur new so as to not havet overly trimmed. then wax the stray hairs on the bottom or tweeze em is also easy.

buy those $10 hair trimmers they come with an eyebrow attachement you can find them at CVS and other pharmacies. If your eyebrows are really thick you can just pass it right over if they just need shaping use it without the attachement and trim only from the bottom this will make your eyes pop open and youll look younger and more refreshed.

I have seen a electric trimmer thing in the recent Avon catalogs. I'm sure Walgreens or CVS carries them too. They come with attachments so you don't cut off too much.
While you are there, invest in a precision tweezers, with a really fine tip. Then you can pluck away those stray hairs that show up from time to time.

you're able to first flow to a professional, in case you haven't any longer any thought what you're doing. yet in my case, certainly one of my aunts (who isn't a professional) formed mine. when I've gotten the form, I basically saved at it and persisted to tweeze it myself. So, in case you be attentive to some one that is conscious the thank you to do make up, they could likely be attentive to the thank you to do eyebrows as properly. in case you do no longer desire to spend lots of money getting them carried out some the place, you're able to constantly ask some one you be attentive to.. the only threat in dropping too lots eyebrow hair, is it may no longer constantly come again. And eyebrows that are too skinny and desire enhancement with a pencil, do no longer constantly look undesirable. some human beings desire it 'reason their eyebrows could basically be way too skinny and the pencil/shadow enables it have a greater effective shape. i do no longer think of there is something that reduces eyebrow hairs, basically via tweezing or waxing. Waxing sounds frightening, even nonetheless it surely feels god.. properly to me besides.
