CONGRATULATIONS!!!By admitting that you need help you have already taken the first big step to rebuilding your life.
Contact the A.A (the 12 steps really do work) or NA, join a church, get support it is absolutely nessaccary to have someone to call when you are depressed or stressed. This can be the difference between using or Not. There are also groups called "seeking safety " which are for women in the same situation as yourself. Again i would contact your community info for addresses etc. Most important just know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!

You have your work cut out for you but you can find the strength within yourself to get to where you have to go. Take one day at a time. First things first; find a local AA meeting to go to. There you will find lots of people to help you. All you have to do is stand up and introduce yourself and admit that you are an addict. You will find the right rehab for you through them or you can call any hospital and they can direct you. This is the easy part. The hard part is after rehab. You can't work on your marriage until after you get clean and sober. So start with yourself. Do everything they tell you because they are speaking from experience and if you don't follow all the steps now you will only find yourself going through the same steps a year from now. Good luck and may the higher power be with you.

you started by taking the first step .. now do you want an in-house rehab or to start attending meetings?? You can find all of this out at the local hospitals and/or at a church of your faith or a local shelter. Good luck and congratulations on realizing you have a problem. Best wishes to you

i dont know about san diego but i will say,,"WELL DONE" FOR COMING OUT THE OTHER SIDE",what you have done takes courage and im assuming your drug of choice wasnt weed here,,,abusers of any substance whether it be drugs or alcohol takes as much mental strength as physical strength and you have to keep hold of what it is you are trying to accomplish,,,living a clean, normal, boring life,,one where your only worries with money is,,"i dont have any" and not "i have to get money for,,,,,,'' dont forget when the voice comes at a low peak that it is just that weak part of you that says you need something to make the voice go away and that voice is strong isnt it,,try to keep away from places where you are vunerable,,people who have not yet taken the steps to get themselves clean and would love to suplement their income with yours if only you just "come home",,YOU DO NOT NEED THEM ANYMORE.you will have bad days and you will have really bad days but the things that made you decide to quit are still there,,they may be hard to spot sometimes but you need to know they are the thoughts you had when you decided you couldnt do this anymore,,you want more than what these substances can give you,,you want to wake up normally and not have to worry about who you have to meet that day,,,you want to get up in your own time,,have a boring coffee and maybe another,,you may go out for a paper or a packet of cigs but when will be your choice,,it is a simple life but one im sure you havent experienced in a long time,,you know to be ok it will take years of struggle but it has started,,day 1,day 2,day 3,,day 678 day 679,,they will come and you will get stronger because it has been your own personal fight and if you can do this you can do anything,,their is little else to fear when you have felt extreme pain and to conquer that pain is something to feel proud of. take each day as it comes, one step at at time and all that blah blah but even thought the words dont give it justice they do matter, get support, let people help you,be truthful with them and yourself and in time,,,,you will have that life the rest of us take for granted and sit and moan about.........
