Dna Is the building block of a cell. It determines all the characterstics of the cell and thus all the characteristics of the plant/animal its from. Twins are caused when the cells at an early stage in the womb divide to grow but instead split appart creating a seperate embreo. The two embrios then grow into seperate twin babies. Twins can also be caused when two seperate eggs are fertalized at the same time causing paternal twins that are not identical.

DNA is a very large molecule that is present in every cell. Each cell in an organism has DNA that is identical to that in every other cell in that organism.
If you take a cell from your skin and another cell from say, your heart, (just assume...) isolate DNA from these cells separately and if you could view them. They will be exactly identical.
DNA stores all the information that is required to create an organism and to make it function. By this I mean for an organism to survive, it needs some information and these information are found in the DNA.
This information (genetic information) includes details like your blood group, skin color, length of your nose etc. As you know, these information are different for different people. That DNA will be different for different individuals.
In case of twins, the information is (almost) identical. That is to make twins DNA must be identical.
To answer how people get twins........ Your DNA came from your parents. Sperm and egg cell has DNA in them. They fuse. The DNAs mix and what you get is one DNA that goes to the child. The cell that carries this new DNA will start dividing and finally form one child. In case of twins, the cell divides but forms two children instead. These two children carry same DNA - genetic material.
This is how people get twins!!!!

DNA, which as others have states, stands for Deoxyribonucleic Acid and is composed of billions of nucleotides with phosphate bases (Adenine, Thymine, Guanine, Cytosine) strung together in a double-helix superstructure. DNA is generally considered to be the "blueprint" since it encodes the necessary information for the body to be able to produce various proteins and types of RNA, or Ribonucleic Acid, and is present in every single living cell in the body. The information sets encoded into DNA are referred to as genes. Genes can be hundreds to tens of thousands nucleotides long, with the genes themselves having their own little data sets known as introns and exons.
Your second question requires some clarification. There are generally two different types of twins. Fraternal twins result when two separate eggs are fertilized and result in twins that share only 50% of their DNA rather than identical twins, which share 100% of their DNA. Identical twins occur when a single zygote splits into two different, but identical, cell masses. Depending on when the split occurs exactly, development of the fetuses can change.

deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is the long string of cells which can go from the earth to the moon 24 times when strechted out is the cells which makes us us. It has 42 chromosomes in it (43 if you have down syndrome) and you get a CLONE if a strand of DNA is implanted into someones egg.
or you can get a natural twin if the single cell in the mothers womb splits into two and begins to grow
