If the quad is road legal, insured and has a MOT then you are quite entitled to ride it on a green lane (Ancient Highway). You are not allowed to ride it on a bridal way (horses and pedestrians only) or a public foot path. Common sense dictates that if you are on a bridal way then if there are hikers/walkers if you slow down and let them pass then you will spread a bit of good will and they are less likely to give you any problems. When i go green laneing I always give way to horses, adults and kids. As for the photos let them snap away. You could always turn the tables and take your own pictures and if they object tell them that they are walking in the middle of a public highway. See what they say.

they don't need consent in America, also in America you can not be arrested or even tried for anything unless the police catch you or you are brought
to the police, so here you would be fine anyways. Pics wouldn't get you convicted.

It's a free country they can take pics of anybody as long as you're in a public place. Same as you taking pictures at the circus, did you ask the clown, no , is the picture legal, yes.

If you're sure it's a legal right of way for motorised vehicles, and it wasn't downgraded in status due to the NERC bill, you are legally allowed to treat it as you would any other road.

To answer your actual question, unless you can argue that they're invading your privacy (not likely on a public road), they're allowed to take your picture all they like - But hey, you can take theirs, too! Take a camera with you next time, see how they like it.

Interfering busybodies are a fact of life, unfortunately.

The laws on using motor vehicles on green lanes and rights of way have changed in the last year so you need to be very careful where you go. I used to go off road on the Ridgeway but that is all closed now.

It doesn't seem fair but look at the way these tabloid photographers pursue celebraties to try to get photos of them, especially when they are not looking their best, flashing their undies getting out of cars or staggering out of a club obviously the worse for wear. If your quad is legal as you say then let them waste their time.

Well they could just say they were taking pictures of the trees and you just happened to drive by.....But i thought they had to have some kind of consent but hey who knows these days

The US court has ruled that you cannot act in public and expect privacy. UK law is probably the same since your cops use traffic cameras.

Your grammar and spelling is appalling! You may have a road legal 'quad-cycle' but are you actually old enough to ride it????
Next time you post try using the 'check spelling' link at the top of the question box. Maybe more people will be able to understand your question, hence, you might get more reliable answers.

if this couple are taking piccys of you riding in a way to cause a disturbance to people or in a dangerous way then then no they aint breaking the law, they are probably sick of having ato put up with the noise you are making, its road legal so keep it on the road for gods sake
