Yes, it is okay for you to change your ears - just make sure you ask yourself - and answer honestly - why do you want to change them? Do you really think it will make you feel better? Could you learn to love your ears as they are? Is it worth the risk - could something go wrong?
It is a very personal descision, and it may be an idea to talk to a few people who have had it done - so you have a better idea of what to expect.
I hope you can decide what is right for you.

I honestly believe that there are certain things which are perfectly ok to change, and pinning your ears is one of them. Not only will this enable you to feel more confident, but it may help you to be taken more seriously professionally. Certain physical qualities can distract others from a persons true potential, as shallow and sad as this may be, and so a minor tweak like this usually does nothing but good for the recipient. Unlike breast augmentation or a nose job this is not something that seems overtly vain to me, it is just something you can do to level the playing field a little. You want someone to notice you first, not your ears, this makes sense. Go for it, and Merry Christmas!!

I would say if you can afford it go for it.

But: a word of advice. Make sure you go to a reputable surgeon. The only thing worse than having a feature you don't like is being scarred for life and still the feature is no better due to lack of competance.

Check the surgeons credentials before you go for a consultation with either of these two governing bodies:

Good luck

P.S You should never have to pay for a consultation from a reputable Surgeon.

One...yes, it is okay to change...it is your decision; however, there are pitfalls here...

You have to ask yourself why is it one thing about you making it hard for you to accept yourself...is it the thing or you that is the problem? If You cannnot answr that question you may want to rethink it...because what happens if you think your ears were the problem and then you have it done and you STILL are not happy...it happens.

So I would say make your choice but be very honest about why you want change.

why wouldn't it be OK? don't U want to like yourself? If you don't people will walk all over you..emotionally, mentally, spiritually, & physically. The way you have been made is Unique..you are the only 1 like you.

If it is to correct something that really bothers you then any plastic surgery is fine - I had a Boob Job after three children as it really depressed me and now I feel much more confident again.

many people will say they are against it and you should accept who you are - SCREW THEM! while i myself would never resort to any kind of plastc or cosmetic surgery, i think if you want to change something that really matters to you - GO ON GIRL - OR BOY...LOL just dont go over board and become a surgical addict - thats a major problem in our society - people cut themselves up to re create themselves. also only do it for yourself - no one else. its your body. your call.

Its your choice, your body, and your mind. Don't let anyone interfeir with that. Some people may not agree, but as long as its your choice, and if it will build your condidence I say go ahead.

hope I helped=]
