Yes, as I read some of these answers, I know how some of these folks are blind, and never seen people living in trash cans and dying on the streets in alleys,right here in the US. We do send to much aid abroad when it is needed here at home. I could go on and give more facts examples, but what good does it do?

Its not us who pours money into foreign aid, it's the Goverment.

The Goverment is more worried about losing allies and making enemies that they've become obssesed with bribing other Goverments into alliance.

Now this is how they look at it;

Q) Get more allies and win wars -Or- Waste money on medication for people who are going to die eventually

This is how I (and others) look at it;

Q) Bribe other countries so we can send more troops to get killed
in the war and save more of our own men and women in America
-Or- Help those future soilders, lawyers, doctors, ect.-People who will make our country rich and bountiful-. Help stop the greif and pain that comes over people who have once served or are still serving for the Goverment.

Because that is the problem. We are more concerned about other peoples problems and their resentment towards us. So we let the world walk on us, and open up our house for the world to take advantage of then spit on us.

It is time we cut off the millions we give to Pakistan that in turn bash us. If we can put a Man on the Moon in under a decade we can fuel our economy without oil.

The world hates us and it is time to close our doors to our house and take care of our own problems.

Because like most of the western world (Canada included, I am Canadian) it is always much more important to look good on the world stage, then it is to be a hometown hero.

its easier to help others who are willing to be helped, whereas in our country its not that easy cuz we already have a system, and change is complecated. in a foreign country there really is no health care.

I'd rather not have health insurance than be under an HMO run by the US gov't.

Sorry, on this one can't agree with you. We don't "pour" money into other countries (other than Iraq, unless that's the one your referring to).
