A medical student put an amputated arm in a woman's bed and the next day when the nurse came in he found the woman laughing and gnawing on the arm!

This is a very old urban myth. The arm is supposed to have been put in the bed of a nurse the other staff didn't like. Other versions have her as a medical student, or the girlfriend of one.
