i have two teddy bear hamsters and i give them small amounts of fruits and vegetables everyday, you have to make sure u replace food including fruits veggies daily. but i would give your hamster, carrots, lettuce, celery, apples, spinach, broccoli, califlower, peanuts etc. just about anything, just dont let them eat the seeds of fruits and that everything is clean and washed. u can also buy them blueberry yogurt dips at any store they are made specially for hamsters, my hamsters love them! sometimes i give them dried friut like cranberries, banana chips, coconut...it comes in a trail mix package. have a Merry Christmas andgood luck with your hamster!

Hamsters enjoy a varied diet that includes commercial grain and seed mixtures tailored for the animal as well as certain kinds of fruits and vegetables. A good commercial hamster mix should have all the necessary nutrients. Round out the diet with dandelion greens, chickweed, alfalfa pellets, spinach, lettuce, carrots, apples, and other fruits. A daily menu plan should include rations of a half-ounce of grain mixture, a small handful of greens, and tasty treats such as a slice of apple and a floret of cauliflower. Stay away from raw beans, apple seeds, sprouting potato buds, parsley, and green parts of tomatoes—all foods that can be poisonous to hamsters.

the improtant thing regarding vegetables is not to give them too much - because they will then have diarrea.
