when i go to my computer comment that are from friends will not light up but on my neighbor's comp the same comments light up. even where it says ONLINE NOW dont blink

When I go to my computer comment that are from friends will not light up but on my neighbor's comp the same comments light up. Even where it says ONLINE NOW dont blink. And also at times when a person leaves me a graphic I cant see it on my comp.
