In moderation, liquid is better. Of course, if you use too much, your face might look greasy and oily. Use a base of liquid, then put some powder on top, too keep your face from looking greasy. Hope I helped.

Liquid foundation is better if you have dry or normal skin, the coverage is more shiny but not like a light bulb, in addition most liquid foundation have moisturizers because it is aimed to help dry skin, but there are some for oily skin but it not recommended because of the pore absorbance. With powder you can control more how much you put on and you don't have to put it all over your face to blend in. You should always get foundation [in the powder form] a shade darker or your actual shade depending on if you have dark spots on your face that you want to blend or vice versa if you have lighter spots on the skin. I recommed powder for normal to oily skin because it has a matte finish and you can get the powder form oil free. I hope this helps! So use your skin type to determine what form of foundation to use.

I did a lot of research on this and it all depends on the ingredients. Liquid makeup brands like Revlon Colorstay that have a fantastic staying propensity are awful for some skins because they are saturated with silicone. The best makeup for skin is pure mineral foundations. However, after checking Sheer Cover, Bare Escentuals, Jane Iredale, Youngblood, Everyday Minerals, Glo-Minerals, Philosophy, Physician Formula, Loreal and many other mineral foundations, I have to say that Everyday Minerals, Intensive Formula, is the best in the market for any skin. The product is pure and heals acne and other irritations. Try everydayminerals.com. The company sends samples for free.

its mostly cheap makeup that hurts your skin. remember you really should spend a little more money on a foundation and as long as you clean your makeup off befor you go to bed your skin will be fine. the solid kind of foundation gives you better coverage then liquid foundations and powder

It depends on your skin type. Also the formulation of the foundation. There are liquid foundations with moisturizer some without. same with powder. Cleaning your face nightly is really key.

I suggest you to try on a 'Artistry' liquid foundation to cover up your dull skin and don't forget to put some concealer to cover the blemishes and dark spots. After that, i recommand you to put beige colour for make-up powder. Don't worry, it will stay and you will look good in the spotlight.

Powder! the reason being by technique of the fact i think of that liquid makes me look fake or like I have been given botox or something. i decide for makeup that makes me look organic, unlike a barbie doll.

neither are designed to be better than the other. use the liquid foundation first for coverage then brush powder over it to set it.

Liquid, the powder and the solids look to cakey and un-natural.
