That generally indicates the electric eyes are blocked or mis-aligned. Check to see that someting isnt in the way. The 'eyes' also have lights on them. If they is nothing blocking them and if they are properly aligned, they will be green. If they are red then you need to fix that problem.

Although I am an electrician and not a garage door expert ... These things you have to fiddle with. There are adjustments for door travel ... there are little "codes" inside the remote and the opener that must match ... (little switches with numbers on them that you can flip so say the remote is set for 1345 and the opener is also set for 1354 so the match and work together) like the others are saying, there are safety's that have to be clear of being blocked like an electric eye that looks across the door path tomake sure nothing is in the way. Also there can be sensors to see if the door is hitting something ... fiddle with all these things and most the time you will get lucky! GOOD LUCK!

When that happened to me, I had pushed the lock button on by accident so then my remote would not work Try to push the lock button on the same panal as the open button in the garage. Hope this helps.

Check the owners man. Blinking indicates there is a sensor trouble. check the two floor units to see if something is blocking them. If it blinks then it detects the remote signal but also sees something in the way.

If the LED's indicate proper alignment, then the problem may be in the circuit board. I don't deal in that brand, so I can't tell you what the cost would be to replace it. However, if the machine is older than 5 or 6 years, you might want to just replace it. If you want to buy and install one yourself, stick with Chamberlain or Sears (which is also Chamberlain). Avoid Genie, Wayne-Dalton, and any "off brands".

sounds like the safty that senses when somthing is in the door path is out of adjustment. It is the light that shines across the door to the other side to indicate the door has somthing in its path which causes the door to stop. Re-align this sensor
