check your recylce bin and see if its in there, if so restore it back
If its not you may have to do a system restore. You may also be able to go to control panel and find the volume settings and create a short cut (maybe)

Go to Start->Control Panel.

Choose "Sounds and Audio Devices" and then in the window that pops up select the option in the middle to place icon in the task bar.

You should then be able to choose and set your volume control from there.

Hope this helps

The easiest way is to do a System Restore. Now you will have to know a date when it definitely was working.

Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>System Restore. Now pick a date that is in bold and you are sure your speakers were working. That should correct the problem.
