A few people here gave some good tips. Nothing I would do thoe. For me the best way to learn something is to just start doing it.

You can play on-line with real players at yugioh dot net. Learn the rules learn how to play and most of all learn how to win. Good luck.

The official Yu-Gi-Oh website: http://www.upperdeckentertainment.com/yugioh/en/

Card rulings and info: http://www.netrep.net

Great online community, one of the oldest on the net: http://www.pojo.biz/board

As for buying Yu-Gi-Oh cards, I'd try to buy them locally first. Look up Comics, Games, Hobbies, and/or Collectibles in the phone book and make a few calls. There's probably a store or two that sells Yu-Gi-Oh cards and has an open play area for duelists. If you have to buy online go to eBay. Alot of other sites have outrageous prices and shipping costs.

The official website would be the bst bet for information, including the current Limited and Forbidden lists, as for cards, best bet would be eBay, you'll be able to get some good ones there.

Failing that, get Yu-Gi-Oh: Nightmare Troubadour on Nintendo DS, for £30, you'll have access to over 1,000 cards, ooh, that and you get some bonus cards in the box.

(official announcements from the makers itself)

two, www.Pojo.com
(card scans and info)

three, www.deckrevolution.com

four, (the coolest) www.yugioh-deck.com
(free registration, where you can have your deck graded, and get to see fellow Duelist's opinions and tips on the coolest cards!!!)
