This catch phrase was used to get certain politicians elected but have we really seen compassionate conservatism as promised? Should that label be applied to Conserative Republicians? Or is it more suitable when applied to Moderate Democrates?

I live in a state that always has gone republican. However I have come to see that those two words do not go together. It is a true oxymoron.

This label was used by President Bush while trying to be elected. I doubt that compassionate can truly be used but anyone in Washington. Certainly not by our current President.
