My MD said at night to sleep through any nausea, but I'm up doing a lot at night and I can forsee forgetting to take it a couple of times when my mind's on other things. My sister takes hers in the morning and says it's fine. I dunno, how bad is an adverse reaction to BC because I don't want to risk it if it's too bad.

sweetie take it when u can remember it.. i have been on the pill for years and have started it in the morning or in the afternoon or even in the evening.. pick a time during the day that is best for u.. if u get up around the same time every day take it then or if u eat lunch at the same time every day take it then .. very few people actually get nausea from the pill and if u do just make sure to take it with a little bit of milk or a cracker to make sure u have food in your stomach.. i usually take mine first thing in the morning and honestly id on't get up the same time everyday all i do is just make sure it's the first thing in my body for the day.. but just remember to take it..

Most women won't have any adverse reactions to birth control pills. It's best to take them at the same time every day, so if you have a schedule that's pretty regular in the mornings, that's fine. If you do experience any nausea, it'll normally pass after a few days on the pill.

I think a women should take birth controls when they are most likely to remember taking it. You are suppose to take birth control pill the same time everyday. I took mine during the afternoon because that's the time I remember to take it as to night because I get lazy or morning I'm in a rush or too focused on other things, but in the afternoon it was just right. However as time progressed It was harder and harder for me to remember and eventually I moved on. But take it @ a time you will remember that goes along with your schedule and time.

As for side effects I don't think I really had any, in fact I had more pros than cons. I was on Othro Tri Cylcen lo for 1 1/2 to 2 years.

I take mine at night, but i was told i could take it whenever as long as i took it at around the same time every day...I take the seasonale BC pills and they are the strongest ones out there from what ive seen, and i have never had any trouble with them making me fell ill.

DONT TRY THE PATCH! I saw someone mentioned that as a suggestion... I tried it, you know that annoying ring you get around a bandaid when you leave it on when you go to bed....well its 10x's worse with the patch, i also had trouble with mine not staying on for the whole month, it was more of a hassel than a help...

Good luck!

B.C pills are 99% safe.
But they can get less safe is not taken the exact same time every day.
So find an hour in the evening when you're at home or somewhere (say around 20:00-22:00) and take them then...

If you have reaction to one brand then ask your doctor to change them with another! its not important when you will take them in the morning or in the evening the only important thing is to take them at the same time..say 08 00 am every single day! put daily alarm on your mobile..so you wont forget them.

I dont think it matters as long as you take it at exactly the same time every day, and dont take anything that cancels it out, such as St Johns WOrt, and certian antibiotics, etc.Or you try the patch, ask your Doc if the patch is right for you.

I always used to take mine in the morning right when I woke up. Its easy to remember, just take it while you're getting ready for the day. It never made me feel sick or anything.
