You have to unplug all of the electrical connections from the sensors on the upper intake and throttle body. The fuel lines then need to be disconnected from the top of the injector housing behind the throttle body. Remove the throttle body. Remove the hose at the brake booster. Remove all of the 10mm bolts around the outer edge of the upper intake. CAREFULLY pry up on the upper intake.
Why do you want to take it off? The only things that you can service by removing the upper intake are the fuel injectors and the fuel pressure regulator.
It's a bit of a tricky job, so be careful!

if the only thing you need to take off is the upper part of it,theres a few bolts that are o top of it,just remove the ones that go through the top,and that will take it off ,im guessing your replacing plugs or a valve cover gasket,on this one,,you have to remove it to do either job,,but it will probably not even tear the old gasket,,and you may be able to reuse it,,good luck with it,,hope this help,s,,have a good x-mas.
