Keep in mind that the Iranian president has been misquoted more times than any in recent memory.

Here is an example of someone who listens to the medias version:

This is the country whose leader has been accurately reported by numerous sources as pledging to destroy Israel. Israel has had nuclear weapons for years (this was not reported at the time) and has not used them. If Iran were to use nukes Israel would retaliate and there would be some real pretty sh!t going down. What do you think?

Well, first of all, the whole WORLD knows Israel has nukes and HAS called for the extermination of the Palestinians. Iran on the other hand never said anything about wiping out Israel. What the President ACTUALLY said was a call to change the GOVERNMENT in Israel. The removal of the current one. NOT elimination of the PEOPLE. Inform yourself, do some research and actually READ or LISTEN to his interviews and not the NY Times or Fox news version.

Israel has committed 70 UN violations and yet nothing is done, Because of Americas constant VETO ...and yet we wonder why the Arabs do not like us.
Our entire Foreign policy is riddled with hypocrisy

Weapons. Iran is run by twisted Muslim extremists bent on exporting terrorism in the name of Islam. They have been proven to be involved in terrorism and there is no reason to believe they would change now. If they were truly following Islam they would not act as they do. They have refused UN aid in developing nuclear power. I wonder why that is?

Do not consider appeasing them. That happened in the 1930's in Europe and the result was Hitler's Germany. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it! Iran is a snake coiled to strike. Should we allow them to have venom in their bite?

I think it is nuclear power, and they probably bought the tech from US or French Companies. It is hard to tell, but whenever I read an article, the only facts are for power, not weapons. The only ones making all the noise are Bush and Cheney, so after Iraq, I can only be suspicious of their motives. We have given them many reasons to hate us, like ovethrowing their elected President in 1954 and replacing him with the hated Shah. We also supported Saddam when he attacked Iran in the 1980's. It seems we have been the real bad guys when it comes to Iran. http://www.globalpolicy.org/empire/history/2000/0416ciairan.htm

Probably both, and do they have the right. You are damn right they do. Since when is the only country to have dropped a nuclear weapon in charge of the worlds moral conscious. Every country has the right to defend herself.

Even if Iran is building nuclear weapons,we have no proofs...and no one can prove it...Just because US says it,is not enough. We saw how "right" they were about the WMD in Iraq...So until then I think Iran is enriching uranium for nuclear power...

Anybody that thinks Iran is not developing a nuclear weapon is living in a bubble.

Iran hates us and Israel. I think an a-bomb is a good tool to keep on hand. Good Targets are DC, NYC, I do not thin anyone is foolish enought to light one off in Israel and their own back yard.

Frankly, it doesn't matter. If one country has the right to have those bombs, every other country should have the right to have them. The best thing is total disarmament but hell hasn't frozen over yet.

Let's see, they've said that they are developing it for weapons and have threatened anyone and everyone with it...
I'll go with developing it for a weapon.
