If it's who you are, own it. You'll be happier that way and the people who accept you for who you are and care about you as a person rather than you as a cross-dresser are those you really want in your life.

Bob, maybe your questions could best be answered at a website for cross dressers.
If you do your absolute best to look like any other woman your age you can probably do it. Some crossdressers will always look like a "guy in a dress". Others actually look pretty good, doing almost everything as a woman. Start slowly, with small steps, like going out a for little walk in the early morning or late evening, untill your self-confidence builds. Good luck in your ventures, and be careful!

This is something of a statement and needs to be reworded to make it a question. Wise up. womens clothes are more expensive than guys. Why would you want to spend so much more for so much less. Besides, winter is here and guys under wear is heavier and therefore warmer than womens. Last but not least, womens clothes look good on women, not men. Rent some clint eastwood movies this weekend and you'll forget all about this silliness. "A man has got to know his limitations!"

First of all, after my dad died when I was 12 my mom moved me and my two sisters into a ritzy-gay neighborhood in Manhattan, NYC. We were the only females on the 5 th fl brownstone and all our neighbors were ultra successful gay couples. They were our male role models.
Sometimes I would bump into one of my neighbors, Glen, all ready to go out and I'd see him all dressed up in heels, a cute wig, cute skirt, manicures and pedis and would compliment on how NICE his legs looked (cause they were HOTT!) ...
I noticed when Glen specifically would were jeans and a shirt, on a normal day (doing the laundry) his hair and nails would always be done. Once I had my straight guy friend over and he noticed that Glen had sparkly pedis and you can tell Glen knew he was hot.
I think it's a good idea to get your nails and hair done on the reg. Slowly but surely you'll feel comfortable with being yourself (outside the home), then take it from there hun.
What I learned from him was that if you don't care, no one else will. Seriously =)
Keep shinning babe!

I don't see the point of guy wearing female clothing than feel confidence. Hope that you can find something else to replace it. Even those women's cloth designers won't wear than feel confidence. They usually will asked models to wear it, so that they could see better.
Blessed Christmas

I work in a large public building where we see all sorts of people. Several times a months we get men dressed in women's clothing. Let me tell you it is the funniest thing. My co-workers and I laugh all day long. My advice to you is don't do it unless you go to a plastic surgeon to have a face make over. To each his own, but damned, men in womens clothing are funny has all hell.
