We quite doing a big Christmas dinner a few years ago.

I'm making a big crock pot full of our favorite soup and we have made all of the other stuff we all love, but which doesn't take anyone away from the celebration to work in the kitchen.

This way we get to spend a full day of quality time together, enjoying each others company as well as yummy food.

We do a huge formal meal on Thanksgiving and our traditional Pork and sauerkraut on new Year's so we haven't missed Christmas dinner at all.

More power to ya...my mom suggested an Italian Christmas...mainly because she was sick of turkey and ham after thanksgiving. We're having lasagna, ravioli, brichuto, and canoles. ( I probably didn't spell those right...oh, well). Along with a couple bottles of realllllllly nice red wine..it'll be a very merry Christmas.
