How much is it to live there or buy an island/house or whatever?
Is there a site with a full list of prices?
Ive looked on their official site and it doesn't say anything.
thanks.

A house in "The World" island will cost you from $2M-30M. There are different types of houses. However, the construction is still going on and it will take several months to complete.

Hello,
Forget it, why? you couldnt ever afford to buy & live there anyway. The "world" and Dubai are designed to attract the planets super rich & celebs of the movies (hollywood second homes), media, and sports personalities (David Beckham et al).
**A million £ wont buy you a garage on the world islands, apartments start from about 2million.
Secondly, its a dreadful place to live & it wont remain for very long when climate shift REALLY kicks in, its a disaster waiting to happen IMO.
No.1 Nobody has mentioned the rather tricky problem of sea level rise and that the first places to be washed away will be the world islands & all that proprty. It would only take as little as one or two meters in sea level rise & it would be an utter disaster.
No.2 Nobody is mentioning that if climate shift kicks in then outside temperatures will be so extreme it will be unbearable. The average daily temperatures will be in the 40's & sometimes the high 40's or more, making life unsustainable in the long term.
No.3 Nobody has mentioned the total disaster to the wider marine eco-systems due to all that building work.

nicely, 2 islands in India's Sundarban’s island group have already been engulfed through transforming into ocean ranges. Nakheel, that's the developer of The Palm islands and the worldwide, says it accompanied the Intergovernmental Panel on climate replace's (IPCC) estimation of an boost of 30cm to 50cm through 2100. If it’s extra beneficial than (some estimates have faith that's going to be) this then Dubai’s islands will disappear. Given builders specifically decide on short term returns I’d take a glance around and notice what you think of of its elevation above sea point. yet you will desire to be risk-free for a on the same time as yet, definitely into the 2d area of the century - if Nakheel have raised the islands it is. Of extra instantaneous project is what occurs if a significant typhoon happens offshore, typhoon tension pushes seawater past to it in s surge which the winds then pile onto the shore, consequently the intense seas and flooding that accompanies cyclones. i'd be stricken relating to the supply of unpolluted water in Dubai, because it grows it’ll be interesting to make certain how those are maintained.
