I live in the north/western part of Germany, and unfortunately we won't get snow this Christmas. Some of the roses in our garden are still blooming! I thought my eyes wanted to play a trick on me when I saw that. Anyways, the snow here doesn't stay very long anyways, it melts quickly and we're left with gray mud on the streets, but who knows, maybe tonight, when we're dining in front of our window, all of a sudden we'll see snow falling, like a miracle, and we'll all smile at each other, and I'll remember that I wrote it in this answer and think how strange life can be.

not likely. sun is out and it was raining last night, and I live pretty close to the arctic circle. Perhaps that is why Bing Crosby sings about dreaming of a white christmas, because that is a bit rare now. Got to be asleep to have a white christmas. How else do you dream of one?

I live in New York City and I sure as hell hope we don't have a white Christmas because although the snow is very beautiful to look at it, it's TERRIBLE to be in. I enjoy walking around on the sidewalks and the snow is always slippery and slushy or icy.
