375 A.D. by Emperor Constantine. He named himself Pontiff Maximus, the first Pope. He made Christianity the state religion and subtly introduced new doctrines such as a universal salvation rather than an individual one. Thus begins The Catholic Church.

Not established in the New Testament. Established later and was man-made by the edict of a system with the pope as head. The New Testament declares that Jesus Christ is the head of the church He established.

The Catholic Church was established in Jerusalem on Pentecost in about 33 A.D. when the Holy Spirit came and dwelt in the Apostles.

Within twenty years the faith had been spread as far as Rome by the Apostles Peter and Paul.

With love in Christ.

St. Peter established it. Christ said, "This is the rock (Peter is Greek for rock-Petra) upon which I will build my church" His bones are buried under the vatican tradition tells us. Constantine did NOT establish Christanity as the state religion. He merely encouraged it to unify his empire, he did not outlaw the practice of other religions.
